MY NAME IS MARIA ELIZABETH.
I received my Doctorate Degree in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine in April of 2023 from Pacific College of Health & Science. In 2017, I received my Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Southern CA University of Health Sciences but began my journey in Traditional Asian Medicine at Yo San University.
Before being a practitioner in the Healing Arts, I dedicated myself to the advancement of social justice causes such as immigrant rights and women’s rights for 10 years. My role of galvanizing thousands to practice their civic duty of participating in policy and social change left me depleted, to say the least. I came across Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and completely fell in love with the power of acupuncture and effectiveness of traditional Chinese Herbs. I was ready for a change and I was ready to heal when I was introduced to this medicine and it did just that for me.

Pediatric care—I’ve worked under the direction and mentorship of Dr Ruth McCarty a trailblazer in the integration of Western and Eastern medicine and one of the countries leading acupuncturist in pediatric care.
Women’s Health—during my schooling I took a keen interest in women’s health. I am passionate about helping regulate the menses, helping with fertility challenges, and reminding women that our health is the best indicator of the health of those around us.
Esoteric Acupuncture—for those who already feel comfortable with their current health, this technique is to enhance your spiritual awareness & consciousness. I can sum it up for you: the night after I had esoteric acupuncture, I had my first out of body experience. The goal of esoteric acupuncture is to align body, mind and spirit consciousness.
